Final Reflections

As I draw near to the close of my time at University it is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye. I have had the greatest of experiences learning from some truly great people and have shaped my practice in ways I never expected to. I am greatly indebted to every single one of the lecturers for their dedications to myself and my learning over the past few years and for all their depths of insight and knowledge which I have had the opportunity to absorb.

I feels as though Covid-19 robbed me of my final year due to having to study online for the majority of it. Learning online has been a steep learning curve for all involved but the lecturers have worked doubly and triply hard to create an environment where learning can still be great and I actually feel I have learned more as a result of adapting to the current situations and still making things work.

In order to mark the end of the this chapter of our lives and to offer our huge appreciation to the lecturers, myself and one other have organised a zoom event for tonight in order to come together and share a glass of bubbly, as we launch the group website and bring the past three years to a close ahead of degree show.
