Behind The Image - Rhue Lighthouse

Rhue Lighthouse is situated off the north west coast of Scotland, guarding the remote and stunning entrance to Loch Broom. Although it is only a few miles from a public road this place feels very wild and exposed.

The shoot itself was a somewhat frustrating one and I learned that it always pays off to persevere and change your angle if its not working out the first time.

The aim was to encompass the wild and dreamy nature of the landscape in an image which tied in to the aesthetic of daydream linking it with the other images already shot.
